The Oasis Suites Legacy

The Oasis Suites, now a luxurious hotel, started life as the Oasis Restaurant in 1950. It was home to lace cornbread and barefoot waitresses and was one of the most popular restaurants in Nags Head. But in March of 2004, a fire broke out that claimed the entire structure. But the owners decided that the property now called for a hotel, and The Oasis Suites was opened a few years later.
