Small Group Corporate Retreat
Stay:
The lead group books at The Manteo House, and the rest of your team is next door in The Pearl Hotel
Meetings:
The dining room at The Manteo House accommodates 14, and breakout groups use the parlor, living room or porches.
Meals:
Breakfast is catered at The Manteo House; lunch can be at one of the many restaurants in town, all within a few minutes’ walk (or less!); cocktails on the porch at The Manteo House; dinner at one of our many local restaurants.
The Kitchen provides ample space for breakfast gatherings.
Entertainment:
Attend the The Pioneer Theater for a movie or one of the live events (comedy, music). Grab a beer or wine at the private, adjacent Pioneer Garden. Enjoy a walk around town and pop into art galleries, shops, a wine bar and more. Talk a walk along the charming streets or the boardwalk that hugs the waterfront area. Amble around the Manteo Market on Saturday mornings. Take a drive to The Wanchese Marina to experience a true fishing village and relax at the marina outdoor restaurant/bar.
Large Group Corporate Retreat
Stay:
Executive group stays at The Manteo House, conference attendees book at The Pearl Hotel and The Oasis Suites – all close by.
Meetings:
Presentations are at The Pioneer Theater, which seats 242 with full enhanced technology, panel/presentation stage, coffee bar and easy access to The Pioneer Garden for breaks.
Meals:
Breakfast is at each hotel property; lunch is at the Snack Shack food truck in The Pioneer Garden or one of the town restaurants within a block; dinner at one of our many local restaurants or an Outer Banks oyster roast or seafood boil on the lawn at The Manteo House.
Entertainment:
Take a sunset cruise around the surrounding sounds on a head boat. Go on a bird watching or wolf spotting excursion. Attend trivia night at one of the local bars. Watch the sun set from the top of nearby Jockey’s Ridge, the East Coast’s largest sand dune. Go on a guided Ghost Tour around the streets of Manteo. Meet up with your group at the local rum distillery.

Most presentations are at The Pioneer Theater, breakout groups are at The Manteo House in the parlor and dining room.
Meals:
Breakfast is at one of several local coffee shops; lunch is ordered in from one of the local restaurants; dinner is served buffet-style at The Manteo House.
Entertainment:
Take a dolphin-watching tour. Head to The Pioneer Theater to watch a classic movie. Enjoy a specially arranged house concert at The Manteo House. Walk around town streets to appreciate all the blooms, or take a trip to the Elizabeth Gardens, 3 miles away. Rent a bike and tour the quiet, flat streets of Manteo. Visit the local lighthouse, maritime museum or state historic site. Relax on one of the many waterfront benches and watch the world go by.
